GC had a presentation in the Harvard-Dartmouth Korean Art History Workshop 2019, held at the Korean Institute of Harvard University on December 6, 2019. Titled “Modern and Contemporary Korean Art: Continuity and Transformation,” the workshop was a great venue for scholars of Korean art based in North America to share their research. GC made a presentation on an ongoing Digital Humanities project of SKCI focusing on the the Chosŏn Art Exhibition (朝鮮美術展覽會, Chosŏn Misul Chŏllamhoe) (1922-1944). Its title is “Linked Korean Art: An Ontology-Based Semantic Approach to Korean Modern Art.”
